Adjusting to Graduate School

In this book, the author hopes that it can be your field guide for graduate school and uncover the hidden curriculum that presents many barriers rarely acknowledged within the graduate school journey. You can access the eBook version through the UC Library website. You can access a presentation and discussion from/with the author in two videos on the GradThriving Helpful Resources webpage.

Originally aimed at supporting underrepresented minority students in their Master’s and PhD studies in STEM, this site also contains resources beneficial to all graduate students such as identifying advocates, time management, building community, and more. For more information, visit the GradThriving website.

Graduate School comes with its own language. Here are a few sites to help you translate!

The University of Cincinnati is pleased to partner with the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) as an Institutional Member to provide FREE professional development resources and support for faculty and graduate students. Please take advantage of the enriching programs NCFDD has to offer. For more information, visit the NCFDD website.
