Maintaining Graduate Student Status

Maintaining graduate student status signifies that the student is actively engaged in making progress towards their degree and meeting program requirements. Graduate status determines which students may use facilities of the university, may participate in the university governance process and student organizations, and are covered by the Student Code of Conduct and the grievance process. A University of Cincinnati graduate student must hold the equivalent of a baccalaureate or higher degree and must have been accepted for admission into graduate study by the appropriate graduate program.Â
