Welcome from Dean White

Dean Ryan White in glasses, dressed in a pink shirt and tie, poses with a friendly expression.

Welcome to a new semester at the University of Cincinnati (UC) and a special welcome to those of you joining UC for the first time! Whether you’re returning to campus or just getting settled, we’re excited to have you as part of our graduate community. We look forward to the energy and ideas you’ll bring this term, and the impact your work will have in our community and beyond.

As the semester gets underway, I encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities available through the Graduate College to discover new knowledge, translate learning into practice, and connect with the graduate community. Throughout the coming weeks, we’ll not only be hosting events and programs to support your academic success, professional development, and research and creative works, but we’ll also highlight opportunities offered by our campus partners, acting as a central hub for all things geared toward graduate students. I hope to see you at an event, competition, workshop, or simply around campus.

Wishing you a successful and a fulfilling semester ahead. Be sure to stay connected with us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for updates, events, and opportunities throughout the term.

Go Bearcats!

Ryan White, PhD
