Join us for the 2nd Annual Graduate Student Mental Health Summit, themed C.A.R.E. for Yourself! (Compassion, Awareness, Resilience, Empowerment). This event is designed to deepen your understanding of mental health through personal and professional skill development.

This is a live, in-person event. Virtual options are not available for summit programming.

Monica Brooks

Monica Brooks is an international motivational speaker who brings high energy and her personal story as a cancer and depression survivor. She offers practical tools and insights on managing anxiety and stress in high pressure environments and strategies for building resilience, while managing life changes and uncertainty effectively.

Full time (10-18 credits) students can receive one academic credit for the 2025 spring semester:

  • Attend the Mental Health Summit on Feb. 5
  • Attend a Mental Health First Aid Training
  • Submit a brief reflection paper
