Interested in a graduate assistantship? Assistantships provide funding in exchange for teaching, research or administrative duties.

Learn about the many graduate fellowship opportunities, including national and international fellowships. Fellowships provide funding that allows students to concentrate exclusively on their studies. Please contact your program of interest to inquire about college- or department-based fellowships.

Scholarships are a great way to fund your graduate education. Graduate programs offer the Graduate Scholarship to potential students. Please contact your program of interest to inquire about college- or department-based fellowships.
Other Awards
Many UC graduate programs encourage Fulbright students to apply. For these specific programs, if a Fulbright student is accepted for admission, they will receive a 100% tuition scholarship from the graduate program for the student’s grant period.
The Graduate College also offers awards to cover the single-student cost of UC Student Health Insurance. All eligible GAs and fellows may receive the Graduate Student Health Insurance (GSHI) Award. The Graduate College also offers a limited number of GSHI Award for Part-Time/Non-GA Students.
