UC students recently recognized for research or creative endeavors include geology master’s student Rajarshi Dasgupta (Sigma Xi Grants-in-Aid of Research), environmental engineering and science doctoral student Greg Saylor (2014 American Water Works Association ARCADIS scholarship) and English and comparative literature doctoral student Lisa Ampleman (2013 Dorothy Sargent Rosenburg Annual Poetry Prizes competition).
The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services will host its first summer workshop series about collaborative research from July 21-25, 2014. The inaugural theme is “Collaborative Research in Community Contexts,” which will bring together international, national, and regional scholars to address issues related to collaborative research with partners outside academe.
