Four University of Cincinnati scholars—including two current graduate students—will travel across the globe this year to enhance their studies and help promote international ties as the newest Fulbright U.S. student award recipients. Josiah Rushing, a master’s student in percussion, will study in Lyon, France and Abby Yeakle, a doctoral student in oboe, will study in Vienna, Austria.
James Mack, a tenured associate professor of chemistry, has been announced as the new associate dean of the Graduate School. Mack will begin his new position on June 15. In Mack’s new role, he will provide strategic direction over the necessary processes of the UC Graduate School, which support its many students, faculty, programs and staff.
