Every summer, a group of Nobel laureates and over 600 promising young scientists meet in Lindau, Germany to discuss current research topics and practices. During the summer of 2014, the University of Cincinnati was represented at this prestigious event by two graduate students, Amy Engevik (Systems Biology and Physiology) and Kyle McCracken (Molecular and Developmental Biology/Medical Scientist Training Program). Amy and Kyle share their experiences in Lindau with us.
