Whether you are a first-time graduate, graduate student, parent or UC faculty member joining in the celebration, this will be a memorable day for you. Find details and information on the Commencement website.

Participating at the ceremony is optional. If you are not planning to attend, you still need to apply for graduation by the deadline if you would like to earn your degree and/or graduate certificate by the end of the term.

Congratulations Fall 2025 graduates!  Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony information can be found on the Commencement website. Questions about the recorded ceremony and pictures can be directed to comminfo@ucmail.uc.edu.

The university will host the Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies on April 30, May 1, and May 2. More information can be found on the Commencement website. 

Any graduating student may purchase regalia, regardless of their ceremony participation. 

Doctoral students participating at the ceremony are only permitted to wear the red regalia. Doctoral students interested in standard-quality doctoral regalia can order through Jostens or Balfour. 

• The last day to order standard-quality regalia through Balfour is Sunday, March 22, 12:25 p.m. (EST). For inquiries, please call Balfour at 1-800-683-4771 or email them at customer_service@buildagrad.com.
• The last day to order standard-quality regalia through Jostens is Wednesday, March 25 by 5:00 p.m. However, Jostens recommends ordering regalia by March 18. For inquiries, call UC Bookstore at 513-556-1700 then press 3 or email them at 0032mgr@follett.com.
• The last day to order custom fine-quality doctoral regalia through Jostens is Wednesday, March 18 by 5:00 p.m. Inquiries can be directed to Jennifer Smith-Hunter or Shane Zaleski; call UC Bookstore at 513-556-1700 then press 3 or email them at 0032mgr@follett.com.

Master's regalia items and/or complete regalia set can be found on the UC Bookstore Graduation page. Regalia will be available to purchase online and in-store starting Tuesday, January 20, including the UC master's complete regalia set.  The last day to order online is Monday, April 20. Students may purchase items in-store up until the day of the ceremony. We strongly recommend ordering or purchasing your regalia as early as possible to avoid last-minute delays. Inquiries can be directed to Jennifer Smith-Hunter or Shane Zaleski; call UC Bookstore at 513-556-1700 then press 3 or email them at 0032mgr@follett.com.
