2019 Graduate School Conference and Fair
Current undergraduate students and returning adult learners are invited to attend the 2019 UC Graduate School Conference and Graduate Fair. The conference will help attendees explore graduate education paths and will prepare them for the competitive graduate application process. Conference sessions are intended to guide prospective graduate students, and college sessions provide an opportunity to meet with graduate program representatives. The event will culminate with a graduate school fair.
This event is free to attend. All meals and a welcome gift will be provided. Sponsored by the UC Graduate School Office.
9–10 a.m., Check In and Breakfast
10 a.m., Welcome: Graduate School Leadership
10:30–11:15 a.m., Session 1: "EXPLORE" (Student Panels, Assessing Skills & Interest, Opportunities)
11 a.m.–12 p.m., Lunch (Tangeman University Center, Great Hall, room 465)
12–12:45 p.m., Keynote Speaker: Suzanne Ortega, President, Council of Graduate Schools
1–1:25 p.m., Session 2: "PREPARE" (Application Requirements, Funding, Financial Aid)
1:30–1:55 p.m., Session 3: "PREPARE" (Application Requirements, Funding, Financial Aid)
2–2:25 p.m., Session 4: "APPLY" (College Presentations)
2:30–2:55 p.m. Session 5: "APPLY" (College Presentations)
1:30 –4 p.m., GRADUATE SCHOOL FAIR in the Great Hall (Tangeman University Center)
