(A) Credit hours/program-specific and university requirements.
- A minimum of thirty semester credit hours of graduate work shall be successfully completed for a master’s degree including credits for work on a thesis if a thesis is required. In no case, however, shall a degree be granted solely on the basis of accumulated credit hours.
- Graduate programs shall recommend students for the master’s degree after they have met all program-specific and university requirements for the degree.
- To maintain graduate student status and eligibility for a master’s degree, students shall register for at least one graduate credit hour each academic year during the fall semester.
