GSGA Awards and Fellowships

As the UC graduate student government body, the Graduate Student Governance Association (GSGA) provides a united voice across program and college lines, advocating on behalf of the UC graduate student population.

As part of their mission to make the graduate student experience as beneficial as possible to students and the university, the GSGA administers Conference Travel Awards, graduate student Excellence Awards, and the GSGA Research Fellowship. The GSGA also coordinates the Presidential Medal of Graduate Student Excellence

Conference Travel Awards

These awards are to be used for academic conference travel for both presenting and non-presenting graduate students. All graduate students may apply each fiscal year for up to $500 in funds.
