Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Contest

Three Minute Thesis registration has closed.

2016 Three Minute Thesis winner.
  • Registration is accepted on a first come basis; all submissions will be accepted until registration is closed.
  • Presentations are timed; competitors who exceed the three minute time limit will be disqualified.
  • A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. The slide must be submitted to megan.tischner@uc.edu by Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.
  • The winner will receive a $100 award, which will be posted to his/her Catalyst student account.

Fine Art Gallery

Fine Art Gallery registration has closed.

2016 Fine Art Gallery participant.
  • All UC graduate students may show in the Fine Art Gallery.
  • All media are welcome. This includes, but is not limited to, ceramics, drawing, electronic art, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. 
  • Registration is accepted on a first come basis; are artworks will be accepted until registration is closed.
  • All participants must check in during the 8–9 a.m. check-in, and all artwork must remain on display from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • All artwork will be judged by a single judge. The judge's decision is final. 
  • The winner of the Fine Art Gallery will receive a $100 award, which will be posted to her/his Catalyst account. 

 

Poster Forum

Poster forum registration has closed.

  • Poster sizes are limited to 4' wide unless you contact megan.tischner@uc.edu for an exception.
  • Registration is accepted on a first come basis; all posters will be accepted until registration is closed. 
  • All poster forum participants must check in during the 8–9 a.m. check-in, and all posters must remain on display from 9 a.m. to noon. 
  • All students will be judged by two judges. Judges will assign scores using the judging rubric. The combined scores will be used to determine the winners.
  • All winners will receive a $100 award, which will be posted to their Catalyst student account. Each category will have at least one winner. The categories are: arts & humanities; life sciences & medicine; physical sciences & engineering; and social & behavioral sciences.
